Cape St Vincent

2 Nov 1914

Ship still steaming in a southerly direction, sea not quite so rough but she still rolls a great deal, breakfast and a stroll on deck, sight land on our port side, but very indistinct, Cape St Vincent.

Nothing unusual happening, physical drill in the day. In the evening troops get up a boxing contest on the deck with some very interesting bouts.

It is now a lovely moonlight night, effect on the waves is splendid.

9pm. Lights out.
